Adv. Yaron Herman, a senior partner at Gross & Co. has more than 31 years of experience as an active lawyer and served as the chairman of the Corporate Committee of the Israeli Bar Association.
Adv. Herman specializes in complex transactions and has unique expertise in corporate law and in providing strategic legal counsel to corporations, including corporate governance, accompanying legal proceedings and litigation, re-organization, ownership changes, planning structural and intra-organizational changes. Adv. Herman accompanies companies during IPO’s and any going public procedures, throughout their day-to-day activity, as well as advises leading private corporations in their respective fields.
Adv. Herman has extensive experience in regulation and administrative law and is a leader in the field of communications law (Telecom). Yaron heads the Gross & Co. opinion committee and provides clients with advice on regulatory matters, enforcement programs, , corporate law and corporate governance, communications law, cyber and computers, encryption and more.
Adv. Herman advises on procurement, infrastructure projects such as BOT and complex projects, and coordinates the tenders’ law in our firm for both public entities who publish tenders, and for private entities that participate in tenders. Adv. Herman served as a legal counsel to the State Administration in the establishment of the new public hospital in Ashdod, local authorities and many other public and commercial entities.
Adv. Herman has extensive experience in representing organizations in the social sector (non-profit organizations, associations and public benefit companies and funds), their founders, donors, board members and management, and foreign and international organizations operating in Israel. Adv. Herman also accompanies social businesses and works to promote legislation in this area.
Adv. Herman served as legal counsel for the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel and is the legal counselor for the Institute of Internal Auditors in Israel (IIAI), and has developed unique expertise in counseling accountants and internal auditors in their fields of expertise, liability non-dependence and conflict of interests’ regulation, as well as involvement in the legislative processes of laws, regulations and guidelines.
An attorney since 1990, Adv. Herman joined Gross as a lawyer in 1997 and became a partner in 2001. Until 1997 Adv. Herman served in a variety of positions in the Counseling and Legislation Department in Judge Advocate General Headquarters of the IDF (Israel Defense Forces), including legal counsel regarding security, telecommunications, electricity, energy and infrastructure, transportation and more. Adv. Herman served as a Commanding Prosecutor and as a Legal Advisor to the Intelligence Corps as the Deputy Head of the Consulting and Legislation Branch.
Adv. Herman is a frequent contributor to the Israeli press on new developments in his fields of practice.
