Etai Shay is a corporate lawyer advising both international and domestic companies with a particular focus on technology start-ups and growth companies across a broad range of sectors. Etai regularly assists companies on corporate and commercial matters including early- and later-stage venture capital financings and debt financings as well as mergers and acquisitions. Etai also regularly represents private investors and venture capital funds in investments into start-up companies.
Etai has run courses on legal aspects of investing in start-ups for Executive MBA students at the Hebrew University and for graduates and post-graduates at Tel Aviv University on entrepreneurship. Etai has also been mentoring seed stage startups in various forums, most recently at the Palestinian Mentorship Program.
Etai joined Gross & Co. in 2000 as an associate and became a partner in 2008. Etai has been a member of the Israel Bar Association since 2000.
