We are proud to share that after a competitive two-year privatization process of the Haifa Port Company, a preferred bidder has been selected to purchase the Company subject to regulatory approvals.
The government-owned Haifa Port will be sold to a consortium including Indian company Adani Ports, which operates worldwide, and the local chemicals and logistics group Gadot for NIS 3.9 billion.
Our firm accompanied the Governmental Companies Authority throughout the process, in a variety of matters including corporate, contractual and business aspects, tender law, competition law, labor law, litigation and more.
Adv. Rona Bergman Naveh, senior partner in the M&A department, led the deal alongside Adv. Tal Danon Shenhav, partner and head of the infrastructure department, who led all tender matters.
The Gross & Co. team that accompanied and assisted during the transaction: Attys. Daniel Shpitzer, Tal Azaria and Polina Logovin.
