Gross & Co.’s Cyber practice has extensive knowledge in the field of cyber in Israel, the US and the European Union, enabling the firm to provide its clients with comprehensive advice and guidance regarding compliance with relevant laws and accepted practices in the field, as well as assistance in managing cyber incidents.
The team regularly assists many clients in the cyber field, some of whom engage in collecting and processing delicate information and in highly sensitive industries. The team has extensive knowledge of privacy and cyber protection laws – in Israel and abroad, while the department tirelessly invests efforts and resources to preserve and expand existing knowledge. In addition, the team collaborates with relevant cyber experts and regularly participates in cyber conferences and events.
The team manages complex compliance projects connected with privacy protection laws in Israel, Europe (GDPR) and the United States (including CCPA and COPPA) – for companies from all fields and of all sizes, from early-stage start-up companies, through established hi-tech companies, to Local and foreign banks, international global companies and conglomerates.
In addition, the team accompanies investment transactions, merger & acquisition transactions and public offerings (among the largest in the market and in a variety of fields) as part of conducting due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction agreements and a wide range of strategic decisions on privacy and cyber matters that arise while dealing with such transactions.
We have extensive experience in providing legal advice in the areas of cyber and privacy protection, such as providing ongoing regulatory advice, drafting and conducting negotiations regarding legal agreements that include issues of protecting personal information, cyber and privacy – namely Data processing agreements and outsourcing, as well as documentation regarding internal and external organizational policies.
We regularly advise on various issues relating to privacy protection law (including information security, database registration and management, security breach management, reporting to the Privacy Protection Authority, management of security camera systems, etc.).
