We represented our client – ESRT Seventh Avenue L.L.C, in a successful proceedings for enforcement of foreign judgment against Gotex Models USA, for a total of approx. US$1.2 million, in the Jerusalem District Court. The proceedings required a venue of legal service of the statement of claim through the Gottex’s controlling shareholder Mr. Yosef Schweibel, hence his objections to the service were denied and so were the appeals he filed with the District court and the Supreme Court.
The court accepted our arguments and stated that holdings in the a company, even if through a branched holding structure, could validate the legal service for the company. The court ruled in favor of the enforcement.
